The monetization is a bonus
What also surprised me was the monetization. At first, I didn’t think about it too much.
But once the Beehiiv ad network kicked in, things started to grow.
In November 2025, my newsletter generated about $49.
/
In February 2026, that number reached $1,500.
And that was only through the ad network, which recently introduced ads on demand.
The income is nice.
But honestly, the most motivating part is simply enjoying the process of writing and sharing ideas.
The monetization is just a bonus that keeps the momentum going.
What most people get wrong about newsletters
Many creators believe newsletters are hard to grow.
But the truth is:
Most people simply don’t know how to start properly.
They overthink the content.
They don’t promote consistently.
