Lately, I’ve noticed a pattern among creators.
We don’t struggle with ideas.
We struggle with permission.
Permission to post without overanalyzing.
Permission to share without certainty.
Permission to be imperfect in public.
Instead of posting, we pause and ask ourselves too many questions:
“Is this useful enough?”
“Is this aligned with my brand?”
“Will this hurt my reach?”
“What if it flops?”
And while we’re questioning… the moment passes.
The uncomfortable truth about posting
Most viral moments are not engineered.
They’re noticed.
They come from someone showing up without knowing the outcome.
You don’t post because you know it will work.
You post so it can work.
That distinction matters more than any strategy.
The Dr Pepper moment says everything
A TikToker casually suggested a jingle for Dr Pepper.
No pressure.
No corporate pitch.
No expectation.
Just a little song, shared out loud.
The internet reacted.
Dr Pepper noticed.
And that simple suggestion became their official jingle.
One post.
One idea.
One decision to not overthink.
This didn’t happen because she planned a brand collaboration.
It happened because she allowed her idea to exist publicly.

Why random posts aren’t random at all
What feels random to you isn’t random to the internet.
You carry:
Context others don’t have
Experiences others lack
Perspectives others recognize immediately
The post you see as “nothing special” might:
Articulate something others couldn’t put into words
Spark an idea for a brand, a creator, or a business
Land at the exact right time in someone else’s feed
Virality isn’t always about brilliance.
It’s often about timing + relatability + presence.
Overthinking is invisible self-sabotage
When you don’t post, nothing happens.
No data.
No feedback.
No reach.
No opportunity.
The algorithm doesn’t punish imperfect posts.
It ignores silence.
And the people who could have discovered you?
They never get the chance.
The cost of not posting is always higher than the cost of posting something average.

What investment is rudimentary for billionaires but ‘revolutionary’ for 70,571+ investors entering 2026?
Imagine this. You open your phone to an alert. It says, “you spent $236,000,000 more this month than you did last month.”
If you were the top bidder at Sotheby’s fall auctions, it could be reality.
Sounds crazy, right? But when the ultra-wealthy spend staggering amounts on blue-chip art, it’s not just for decoration.
The scarcity of these treasured artworks has helped drive their prices, in exceptional cases, to thin-air heights, without moving in lockstep with other asset classes.
The contemporary and post war segments have even outpaced the S&P 500 overall since 1995.*
Now, over 70,000 people have invested $1.2 billion+ across 500 iconic artworks featuring Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more.
How? You don’t need Medici money to invest in multimillion dollar artworks with Masterworks.
Thousands of members have gotten annualized net returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8% from 26 sales to date.

What “just posting” actually builds
Even when a post doesn’t go viral, it still does important work:
It keeps you visible
It builds familiarity
It trains your audience to expect you
It signals consistency to the algorithm
Most business opportunities don’t come from your best post.
They come from someone scrolling your profile and thinking:
“She’s active.”
“He shows up.”
“This person is building something.”
Momentum is more convincing than perfection.

A mindset shift that changes everything
Stop asking:
“Is this post worth sharing?”
Start asking:
“What happens if I don’t share it?”
Because the posts that change your journey are rarely the ones you plan the most.
They’re the ones you almost didn’t publish.
Just remember…
You don’t need to post perfectly.
You don’t need to post strategically every time.
You don’t need to know the outcome.
You just need to post.
Because sometimes, one casual idea…
one unpolished thought…
one random post…
…is the one that opens the door.
Just post.
Let visibility do its job.
