What I actually did (no secrets here)
Here’s exactly what helped:
I sent my newsletter daily
I talked about my newsletter every day on my socials
I collaborated with other newsletter writers
I treated it like something worth building, not something to “try once”
That’s it.
No viral moment. No complicated strategy. Just showing up.
“But I don’t know what to write about…”
If you’re already posting on X (or any other platform), you already have your answer.
A newsletter lets you:
Go deeper
Add context
Expand on ideas that don’t fit in a post
Build a relationship instead of chasing impressions
And there’s another important part people don’t talk about enough.
